Such a great book about the History of the Indianapolis. Chris Workman does a great job at hitting the high points of the through the last years without overwhelming the young reader. This is a children's Indianapolis 500 book but is very informative and a great overview of the Indy for readers of all ages.

I watched the Indianapolis as a kid, and this book explains many questions I had about the race. It does it in a fun and interesting way that a casual racing fan will enjoy and easily understand.

The author is a tour guide, and he knows his stuff/5. This is a great book written for anyone who is interested in the Indianapolis history. Recently I had the opportunity to meet Rick Shaffer and Donald Davidson.

They are not only great writers but also incredibly knowledgeable about the sport of racing. 5 stars does not give justice to this book. It deserves 10 stars/5(26).
